Vision
To facilitate a liberated people-powered movement that courageously centers meeting the needs of the people.
Mission
To collectively work with integrity, truth, authenticity, and boldness to hold fast to WHO we are. To radically focus on people and never lose our heart and soul for money, power, politics, positions, etc. To continuously learn, encourage voting power, and engage in strategic actions for the people. We reach the people where they are and innovatively work together to advance the movement for sustainable progress. To support brave progressive candidates and elected officials win people-powered elections through volunteer service of the people. To inspire service and move people to help progress our local communities and nation forward.
Goals
We are a people-centered multicultural, multifaith, and multidimensional organizing team. We work together as a collective commUNITY to innovate and strategically coordinate actions. We engage together to ensure goals are S.M.A.R.T. We aim to focus on the following as we try to P.L. E.A.S.E. the PEOPLE.
Purpose – We do everything with purpose, from planning to organizing, to getting out the vote.
Liberation – We believe in radical self-care and joy that leads to our personal and collective liberation.
Education – We support on-going learning that helps candidates run for office by authentically and boldly centering the needs of the people. We help people understand their voting power, civic duties & rights, and encourage them to vote local.
Accountability – We bravely hold elected officials accountable to meeting the needs of the people.
Support – We support our community by listening to, engaging with, and working together to empower the people. We stand in solidarity with our progressive members and partners who do what is right for and by the people. We encourage and provide strategically S.M.A.R.T. advice to candidates to help them win their election. We are not campaign managers, but we help to gather the people to provide insights, volunteer support, and encourage the vote.
Endorse – We engage in a strict process that ensures we only endorse and support courageous progressive candidates who are about authentically working for the people. We only support candidates with a proven track record of consistently centering the needs of the people (not just words, but ongoing actions).
Truth, Transparency, & Trust
Our team is dedicated to earning your trust as we use data (via various methodologies) and facts to share insights and make informed decisions.
We truthfully hold elected officials accountable to the people. The truth may not always be comfortable, but we know we can do what is right by the people when we have valid and transparent information.
Our team is a reliable resource to vet candidates, share accurate information, and activate the people! We believe in the importance of courageous leadership, liberation mindset, bold justice, radical joy, and brave spaces to do the work to meet the needs of the people.
