Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners
Gwinnett County Board sets direction and formulates policies for the county government, adopts the budget, authorizes expenditures, and approves or disapproves specific actions, such as rezoning of private property.
BOC Meetings – typically the first and third Tuesday of every month at 10am (Work Session) and 2pm (Business Session)
At the end of the Business Session meeting, time is allowed for comments.

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is Georgia’s largest school district with over 24,000 educators and support staff and more than 182,000 students in 142 schools. The five-member Board of Education (BOE) roles include establishing policy with the focus on student achievement, ensuring fiscal responsibility, hiring and holding the school superintendent accountable, legal compliance, and community engagement and advocacy.
